On January 25th, the college will be celebrating the 253rd anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns, the Scottish poet. This is an event steeped in traditions, some of which include:
- A formal dinner featuring a variety of Scottish fare.
- A bagpiper to “pipe in the haggis”.
- Poetry and toasts delivered by members of college, such as the Selkirk grace, Address to a Haggis, the Toast to the Lassies and its reply.
- Dancing with a live ceilidh band and caller.
