This year’s Conference on Everything will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2015. The event will start around 2:00pm and will end before the Advanced Students’ pre-dinner reception at 7:00pm.
The Conference on Everything is an annual celebration and exhibition of research by Churchill MCR students to other students, fellows, and guests. The conference is free to participate in and attend. Highlights include a Keynote speaker (previous speakers include Iraqi Ambassador Salah Al-Shaikhly, String Theory Pioneer Michael Green, Liberal Democrat politician Julian Huppert, British statistician David Spiegelhalter, and British mathematician Nicholas H. Bingham), the Alex Mischenko Prize for Best Poster, an abstract book, snacks, and the opportunity to learn more about what your peers actually do. We are incredibly excited to announce that our plenary speaker for the 2015 Conference on Everything will be Prof. Ian Stewart, FRS! Prof. Stewart is a widely celebrated mathematician, science writer, and science fiction writer.
