Enjoy formal hall with the fellows at one of this term’s mentoring common tables. Always an enjoyable occasion and with much to be learnt from our amazing SCR fellows at Churchill, this is a great evening not to be missed!
Note on Churchill College Mentoring Scheme
Rebecca (from TAS) and College organises for SCR members to mentor interested students from the MCR. The scheme gets set up in Michaelmas, so if you do not have a mentor yet you may need to ask Rebecca very politely if there are still places available (I apologies in advance if there aren’t any). The TAS office pays for 2 of the mentoring dinners over the year, so why not try to come along!
Quote from Rebecca that sums it up more elagantly:
Churchill College is keen to foster informal links between Advanced Students and the SCR.
A way of doing this has been to set up a mentoring Scheme whereby students are able to dine informally with fellows.
If you wish to be part of this scheme, you will be allocated a fellow who will act as a mentor and who will invite you to dine with them or meet with them for coffee. 2 Mentoring formals a year will be free, paid for by the TAS office.
