Getting into some more details now:

Theme: Environment and Sustainability

When the question comes to the environment, there is always something that previous photographers have failed to catch. Use your camera or digital skills to show your talent, interests, and sensibility. We are looking for that new glimpse over a well known subject, so impress us. A humouristic element or approach is always welcome!

For this year’s competition we have identified some sub-themes that might be useful to you to think of. These are: Public engagement, Nature, Energy, Everyday life.

You can choose to submit your photographs under the main competition theme, or under one of the sub-themes.

Deadline for submission and procedures: 20/11/2012

Each participant can submit up to two photographs.

Send your digital photos to, as soon as you take them, but before the advertised deadline. Bear in mind that they should be of excellent quality and resolution, so that we can print them properly, for evaluation and exhibition.

If you prefer not to work with digital media, you can always submit a printed copy of your photograph, in such a quality that would enable us to reprint it in a bigger scale without leading to any loss of detail or information. For the latter just contact us first to discuss on the details.

All entries will remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process.

The prizes: Surprise!

20 top entries will be chosen and set on display and an open ballot will run, for public vote, in addition to the jury’s. Winning entries will be awarded eco-friendly, smart and useful gadgets adhering to the competition’s environmental theme. In addition, a monetary prize of £20 will go to the photographer winning the public vote and £40 will go to the photographer winning the jury’s vote.

Have fun and good luck!
